Willis "Will" Raines (drums)

Willis is a native of Sneads, Florida where he began playing drums at an early age for various events across the city and region. It was during the time that Willis played with various cultures that he gained an interest in the many musical styles that you can hear him play today. Willis’ greatest compliment came at the end of one of his performances when a listener stated, “Man, you have a very creative way of adding color to the ‘pocket’ while maintaining a very solid foundation that gives the rest of the band lots of room to breathe. I like that!” Willis currently plays for his local church (Christian Heritage Church) located in Tallahassee, Florida.
Willis has recorded with many different local solo artists and groups with folk, contemporary gospel, Christian and country being some of his most recent styles. Some of the events and people you might hear Willis performing for are Tallahassee Night’s Live, The Gospel Café, The Chapter, Jamie Ubanks Band, Christian Heritage Church, The Rhythm All-Stars, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Skooners and Pineapple Willy’s in Panama City Beach, Florida. Of all the styles that Willis enjoys playing, Jazz, Latin, Neo Soul and Gospel are his favorites.

Zdany "Z" Chisolm (sax) |

A native of Tampa, Florida, Zdany was inspired by music at a young age from his mother who was a songstress, grandmother who was a pianist and an older cousin who played the saxophone. During this vibrant period in his life, Zdany began playing and performing in churches throughout the Tampa Bay Area. While exploiting his musical talents, he became well-known as a gifted vocalist and Multi-instrumentalist, starting off on drums, dabbling in piano, trombone, and finally settling on Saxophone.
While attending high school, Zdany was a recipient of the John Phillip Sousa Award, an award that honors the top student in a high-school band and recognizes superior musicianship, outstanding dedication, and leadership. He also received an award from the Gospel Music Workshop of America for Outstanding Musician. Afterwards, Zdany relocated to Tallahassee, FL in 2000 to further his career in music. He is a graduate of FAMU and a former member of the FAMU Marching 100. While making Tallahassee his home for the past 9 years, he has played at many private and public events for local and neighboring venues alongside great up and coming musicians, including his Minor7ven band members.

Jeffrey "Jeff"Caines (bass) |

Jeff Caines was born and raised in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. His interest in music began at an early age when he began playing piano. At the age of 12, he shifted his focus to the bass guitar. During his Junior High and High School years, he played string bass for the school’s Concert Band. His main musical genre during his early years of playing was reggae and calypso. Jeff moved to Tallahassee, FL in 1994 to attend Florida State University and began playing for the Florida State Gospel Choir. It was during this time that his musical skills began to broaden to include many genres of music. He soon began playing for a local church, which allowed him to play behind several well known gospel artists. Jeff can be heard on the live recording of “Alvin Stewart and the ALARM Praise and Worship Chorale” and Christian Heritage Church Live Recording set to release in October 2009.
Jeff strongly believes that when it comes to music, there’s always room for growth. His musical influences are Sylvester George, Jarvis Brown, the late Wayman Tisdale, Maurice Fitzgerald and, Terrance Palmer.
Jeff currently resides in Tallahassee, FL with his beautiful wife and daughters.

Jason Raines is originally from Sneads, FL
My interest in music started at age 13 which was inspired by my older brother. I began playing piano at my father’s church, and did so, throughout high school. At age 18, I moved to Tallahassee, Fl and began to take playing the piano more seriously. I’ve gained most of my musical influence from Jarvis Brown. I’ve played for numerous weddings of all kinds as well as played for various churches in Tallahassee including, Abundant Life and Restoration, Christian Heritage Church, and currently Celebrate New Life Tabernacle. I’ve composed music for local artists of many different genres including (Jazz, Funk, R&B, Neo Soul, Gospel, Blues, HipHop, Pop and Rock).
